Parkway partners with IMPACTO Ministries to send members of our church to minister to the poverty stricken regions of Guatemala. The teams participate in a "Happy Feet" ministry which distributes shoes to families in the remote villages of Guatemala. They facilitate a Vacation Bible School for the kids. The team also builds cinder block houses for families. There are about 12,000 homeless widows due to the civil war that ended in 1996. Most importantly they are able to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Guatemala Mission Team 2008
On March 19th-28th some of our teens & church members will be traveling to Guatemala on a mission trip. They will be building cinder block houses, participating in "Happy Feet" (distributing shoes to needy families), facilitating a VBS for the kids, and building relationships. Please keep the 2008 Guatemala Mission Team in your prayers!
The team returned home safely on Friday, March 28th. We would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
