The Haiti mission’s team will be providing meatball subs with mozzarella cheese, chips or pasta salad, & dessert. The cost is $5 per person or $15 per family.

This September is our 11th annual Family Month emphasis. As the family goes, so goes our entire society. When the family is producing strong, healthy, Christlike children, our future is bright. But, when the family breaks down, there is no future. No matter where your family is at today, your family can become all that God wants it to be. Are you willing to work at it? Are you willing to change? Are you willing to operate in harmony with the principles God has given? If your answer is yes to these questions, your family has a bright future. Family Retreat—September 16-18th

Pastor Ronnie is leading our Family Retreat this year and he and his committee have planned a great event. We will be bringing in a guest speaker from Florida and we have a whole new slate of events planned for the weekend. Now is the time to sign up before all the rooms are gone. Want to get closer to Jesus?

There are numerous opportunities being offered each week to help you grow closer to Jesus. By taking advantage of our prayer meetings; small group Bible studies; Sunday school; Sunday and Wednesday night services; you will grow closer to Jesus. We encourage you to find at least one or two growth opportunities outside of the Sunday morning service, and get connected. Remember, the sole purpose for our existence is to honor and glorify God with our lives. Let’s put Him at the very front and center of everything.

Intro to Parkway Class: Sunday nights - Sept 12th-Oct 4th

Pastor Jeff will lead our next Intro to Parkway Class beginning the second Sunday in September and running through the first weekend in October. In this class, Pastor Jeff shares our history, doctrine, mission, vision, and how you can get connected. This class has proved to be one of the most enjoyable and meaningful experiences in the entire PHOP array of ministries. The classes run for four weeks from 6 to 7:30 each Sunday night. Searching for a Sunday School Class?

Come join us as we look at Boundaries in Marriage. Starting September 5th, Dr. Steve Ridout will lead us as we look at some essential values in marriage. We will begin to understand the role of boundaries in a healthy marriage, learn how to build boundaries to protect and strengthen our marriage, and explore effective ways to resolve the conflicts we face. We meet in the gym at 9:50 a.m.

Parkway Christian Academy

350 plus kids filed into our halls on the opening day of school. What an honor and responsibility God has given us as we have been called to give those children a great Biblical worldview education. Our weekday education ministry goes far beyond anything we can do in one hour on Sunday or two hours on a Wednesday night. For 35 hours a week we are instilling God’s perspective on life in the hearts of these children. This ministry is making an eternal difference. We once again have the opportunity to offer a number of beautiful children a scholarship to attend PCA. These children come from homes that are not Christian or are desperate financially. Renewanation Update

Wow! Our first affiliate school outside of the Roanoke area (Grace Academy—Hagerstown, Maryland) is reporting an increase of over 60 students this fall. Grace is the only Christian school in that area to report an increase. Also, our newest affiliate, (Bent Mountain Christian Academy) will open its doors for first time with 25 students. To God Be The Glory! Please note that the date of our fall banquet has changed and will now be held on Monday, November 8th.
