Sunday School

Our Sunday School Department is a growing, vibrant ministry where people are connecting with people and increasing in their understanding of God's Word. Sunday School is our primary small group ministry operating under the principle that "as we get larger we must get smaller." A larger congregation must break up into smaller groups in order to grow, fellowship, and serve.

	Our Mission

Learn the Word
We believe the Bible is God's Word and is relevant to every generation. The primary goal of each Sunday School class is to study the Word of God and discover it's practical application for our lives today.

Build Lasting Friendships
We believe in cultivating relationships and strengthening these bonds between members of our church. Sunday School is the primary tool we use to make this happen.

Serve the Lord
We believe each Christian has been gifted by God to serve. Our Sunday School program seeks to discover that giftedness and put it to use in service to others.

	Adult Classes

Parkway offers a variety of choices for every individual. Each class seeks to provide Christian fellowship and a study of God's Word and that foundation never changes. Our adult classes vary in size, age range, and method of teaching.

Seniors
This class consists of our elder saints who carry a burden for the various ministries of Parkway House of Prayer. Its format is more traditional, but full of content, and warmly welcoming to anyone that's new. For more information contact Pastor Ray @ 589-1722.

Singles
They know how to worship, they have learned how to love, they study the Word and pursue God with passion. If you want to be accepted, loved, and spiritually challenged, the Singles Class is for you. For more information contact Keene Carruthers @ 521-8131.

Truth Seekers
David & Sharene Duncombe lead an in depth, small group Bible Study going through one book of the Bible at a time. For more information contact David & Sharene Duncombe @ 344-3295.

Walking With God
This class is geared toward new disciples or anyone desiring a refresher course in the basics of the Christian faith. Here you will about the basics of Christianity, such as salvation, prayer, studying God’s Word, doctrine, impacting the world for Jesus, etc. For more information contact Pastor Ronnie @ 597-4146.

Young Adult
If you are married with kids, you need to be part of this class! Consisting primarily of young married couples raising children, the Young Adult class consistently addresses issues of interest to growing families. For more information contact Steve Ridout @ 977-6075.

Young at Heart
Are you between 45-60? Do you like lively discussion and relevant topics? How about a cup of coffee? Yes? Then this class is for you. They might not be young, but they’re still Young at Heart! For more information contact Judy Ralph @ 343-4713.

The adult classes are approximate ages only. Each class is flexible and gives room for those outside it’s general age category. We want you to find a class that meets your needs.

	Teen Classes

Focus: Ages 12-14
In the Focus class, we focus on issues affecting kids today while exploring the truth of God's Word. For more information contact Chad Forte @ 954-612-6284.

Drive: Ages 15-17
Some very challenging issues face our young people during their teen years. In our Teen Sunday School class we are tackling these issues and answering tough questions teens are asking. For more information contact Pastor Dan @ 588-5809.

SHIFT: Ages 18-25
The Seeking Hearts Inspired for Truth class is an intimate group of caring people both single and married who seek to apply God's word to life changing decisions like college, career, companion, and many other relevant issues. For more information contact Brock Newton @ 580-6819.

	Children's Classes

Classes are offered for children from toddlers through sixth grade. Children learn about the Bible and how to apply these teachings to their everyday lives through songs, Scripture, and stories.

The mission for our children’s ministries is to make disciples during the most moldable period of life—childhood. We desire to lead children to Christ, nurture and establish them in their faith, and train them for leadership in the church and ministry in the world.
